Posted on: November 24, 2021 | Back | Print

India celebrates Constitution Day on 26th November every year to commemorate the day of adoption of Indian Constitution.

2. This year, Government of India has taken an initiative where we all can participate and be a part of the celebrations by reading the Preamble to the Constitution. President of India will be reading the Preamble from Central Hall of the Parliament on 26th November 2021 at 11:00 am (IST). Join the President olf India in reading Preamble, click the photo and share with us @is.canberra@mea.gov.in.

3. Further, a web portal http://readpreamble.nic.in/ has been created, where anyone can read the Preamble and can download the Certificate of participation. The portal will go live on 26th November. You may also like to participate in the “Online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy” available at http://constitutionquiz.nic.in/. This portal will also go live on 26th November.

4. You can participate in this "Reading Preamble to the Constitution" and "Online Quiz on Constitutional Democracy" initiative along with your family members and share the Certificate of participation with us at is.canberra@mea.gov.in.
